Hot-dip galvanizing is one of the gentlest methods of protecting steel – and steel itself is the most recycled material in the world.

At ELEKTROVOD we strive to develop this natural potential further and continuously reduce the carbon footprint of our plants and products. All our operations meet strict EIA criteria and we constantly modernize them to use materials, resources and energy more efficiently.

Thanks to heat exchangers, we can recover up to 80 % of residual heat from furnace flues to heat the pickling baths.

We routinely ensure ecological waste disposal, wastewater treatment, use of rainwater and recycled water, as well as a gradual transition to natural-gas-powered handling vehicles.
